Nebraska respondes to Bo Pelini’s alleged comments about administration

To say the words used in an off-campus non-official meeting between Bo Pelini and his Huskers players were harsh would be an understatement. Crass, disrespectful and unprofessional may be more appropriate.

After the Omaha World Herald released a story outlining what is reportedly an audio recording of that meeting, the university and it’s administration responded with strong words of its own on Wednesday night.

So, about that “lack of core values” thing Pelini spoke of. Pretty sure “you can be successful at Nebraska and that you can do it with integrity and class” qualify as a strong core value.

Clearly this divorce is a bitter one, and you can bet this probably isn’t the last time we’ll hear about Pelini’s tenure in Lincoln, Neb.
